A tree shear is a hydraulic attachment designed primarily for excavators however can still be used on skid steers, tractors, and other forestry machines that cuts and holds trees during vegetation management and land clearing operations. Unlike chainsaws, tree shears allow operators to safely cut, control, and remove trees from the cab of the machine.

 

TMK started from an own need and was developed to work efficiently even in the most challenging work conditions therefore, To make this possible the product needed to be easy to use as well as reliable & productive. Durability

 

All models within the TMK Tree Shear range are made from a high quality and abrasion resistant material called Hardox steel, found in both the blade & the body of the shear are Hardox 400, Hardox 450 and Hardox 500 steels, due to its exceptionally brilliant structure, the blade lasts regardless of being thinner than its competitors.

 

The thin blade easily sinks into the thickest of trees, and the V-shaped home base keeps the trees in a firm grip. This highly durable material allows the blade to slice through up to 400mm of softwood, and 350mm of hardwood with the largest model the TMK 400 Tree Shear. The cutting capabilities are dependent on the model, for example the TMK 200 can cut up to 200mm of softwood and 180mm of hardwood.

The TMK Tree Shear range have the impressive ability to adapt to an individual’s needs, offering a wide range of attachments are available for each model, with little to no extra power required. The shears are compatible with most if not all common brackets for excavators (ranging from 1-30 tons). The new rotation kit can be fitted to all variants of TMK 200 / 300 & 400 Tree Shears ( Bigger Cylinder, HD Cylinder & Turbo Cylinder ) and can be retro fitted to your existing shear with ease! Along with the introduced series of products, making it easier for you to determine what shear setup you require.
